Yesterday, Gateshead Council School Travel Planners Siobhan Bowery and Terry Fay launched their new website “Travel Matters” at the Sage on Gateshead Quays.

The bike patrols have been introduced to enable officers to cover a wider area without using police vehicles and help do their bit for the environment.

Clover Hill is part of the Eco Schools Initiative which aims to work with schools across the region to reduce their environmental footprint. It has established a wildlife garden which has loads of features to attract birds, mammals and other creatures
